2013 Special Election
The
City of Goshen and likely the Goshen School Corporation will be offering a
public question to the voters of specific precincts for a joint building
project.The special election will be
conducted on November 5, 2013. The
Goshen School Corporation will make the decision regarding their portion of
this special election on June 10 in a public meeting at the Goshen Community
School Corporation Administration Building.
To be able to vote in this special election, a voter must
reside and be registered in a precinct that is involved in this special
election.

Elkhart 01 (For address inside the municipality); Elkhart 03 (For address inside the municipality); Elkhart 04 (For address inside the municipality); Elkhart 05; Elkhart 06; Elkhart 07; Elkhart 08 (For address inside the municipality); Elkhart 09 (For address inside the municipality); Elkhart 10; Elkhart 11; Elkhart 12; Elkhart 13; Elkhart 14; Elkhart 15; Elkhart 17; Elkhart 18 (For address inside the municipality); Elkhart 19 (For address inside the municipality); Elkhart 20 (For address inside the municipality); Elkhart 21 (For address inside the municipality); Concord 32 (For address inside the municipality); Concord 33 (For address inside the municipality); Harrison 01 (For address inside the municipality); Jefferson 02 (For address inside the municipality).
Saturday, September 21, 2013 – the Election Board will begin
mailing absentee ballots to
those voters
who reside in precincts that are included in this special election and who have
submitted an absentee ballot application to receive a ballot by mail.
Monday, October 7, 2013 – Voter Registration closes at 5:00
p.m. for those voters who reside in precincts that are included in this special
election.
Tuesday, October 8, 2013 – Absentee voting in person
begins.Schedule and location to be determined.
Thursday, October 24, 2013 – First day that a confined voter
or the voter’s caregiver may vote by traveling absentee voter board.
Saturday, October 26, 2013 – Deadline for the Commissioners
to publish list of polling locations for the special election.
Monday, October 28, 2013 – Deadline for election board to
RECEIVE an absentee ballot application to vote by mail.
Monday, November 4, 2013 –
Deadline, by noon, to vote absentee in person.
Deadline, by noon, to apply to vote absentee by
traveling board.
The
Voter Registration deadline is Oct. 9th, 2012.
The deadline to submit an absentee ballot application to vote by mail is
Oct. 29th, 2012.
